We rely on your donations to purchase equipment maintain our apparatus and outfit our members.

We are an all volunteer Fire Department.

We provide around the clock fire protection for you and no cost.

The operation and costs of a volunteer Fire Company are rising yearly but our donations are not.

Here is an idea of what it costs to outfit one firefighter. Your donations help us to purchase this equipment and make sure we are prepared to respond if you need us.

 This does not include the cost needed to maintain the trucks and building.

In 2005 we:

-Responded to over 250 emergency calls.

-Recruited 4 new members.

-Purchased our first Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

-Received approval for the purchase of a new Ladder Truck in 2006.

-Purchased a diesel exhaust ventilation system for the truck room.

-Held a 3 day donation drive to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
